Patch Notes [Version 46]

The Patch Notes [Version 46] for August 18, 2024, introduce several new features and fixes. The update includes the addition of a new limited time only Navigation Bundle in the Plus shop, reintroduces Event Coordinator options like Beta Rewards and Compensation Rewards for accounts created before August 4, and expands teleporter access to various regions including Kharon, Siros Underground, and the Cave of Tribulation. Notable content additions include several new quests in Kharon and related regions, and a server-wide boss announcement feature. Certain areas, like the Top of Gardion (Mountain Behemoth is the exception) and Siros Underground 4, have been temporarily restricted.

Growth pack items are now account-bound. Various bugs, including issues with experience distribution, visual glitches, potion functionality, and storage errors, have been resolved. Updates were also made to the official website’s quest guide. All physical classes received some attack speed modification bug fixes, the end goal being that all classes start correctly at 0 attack speed and skills/items modify it from there. There are no longer any hidden code modifiers (except non-archers receiving -2AS for using a bow) where attack speed is concerned.

Due to the high volume of issues impacting both the game and players over the past two weeks, we've had to shift our priorities to focus on keeping the game stable and maintaining player satisfaction. As a result, the Unique Restoration Rework will be postponed to the next maintenance patch, scheduled for September 1, 2024. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

General

Added a brand new BUNDLE, the Navigation Bundle which can be bought in the Plus shop in-game. This bundle will be available for 1 week and will be removed in the next scheduled maintenance on the 25th of August.
Added back options for the Event Coordinator: Beta Rewards, Missing Founder's Bundle Items and Compensation Rewards. Compensation Rewards are for all accounts created prior to the rollback on Sunday 4th. Any account created after this date will not be eligible for the rewards.
Added Cave of Tribulation teleporter access for floors 1 to 14.
Added Kharon teleporter access to enable maps Kharon Plateau, Lower Sloth Gorge, Upper Sloth Gorge and Top of Gardion (Mountain Behemoth only)
Added Siros Underground teleporter access from Siros Castle Basement. Floors 1, 2 and 3 are open.
Added Bone Drake back into the game.
Added Boss announcements on death to broadcast to the entire server. This announcement is in the color red, will show which boss that was slain and will play an audible horn notification. This was the result of https://discord.com/channels/1131099308842831925/1218712667506606080.
Added Paniga to Etana. Paniga is the NPC where players can exchange their Ares Adventure Tokens. He is still available in Hershal.

Changes and Removals

General

Removed entrance to Top of Gardion when going through Kharon Plateau. There is no reason for players to be in this area.
Removed access to Siros Underground 4 until a further release phase.
Changed growth pack items to be account bound. Any new pack received will have these items.

Knight

Removed -1 attack speed penalty from all knight single target skills. Tempest/HB were already 0 attack speed, but it didn't make sense why the rest of their skills were set to -1. AoE's remain untouched at -1 attack speed.

Spearman

Removed -1 attack speed penalty from all spearman single target skills, they shouldn't have had this penalty. AoE's (including LF/FF) remain untouched at -1 attack speed.

Archer

Removed the bonus +1 attack speed from all single target skills. Due to balancing and other changes. See bug fixes below.

Mage

No changes or removals.

Bug Fixes

General

Fixed bug where storing plus shop into vendor or any storage would sometimes glitch out and require a relog.
Fixed parties gaining the same experience as each other no matter the damage towards a singular monster.
Fixed a player visually running through a wall on other peoples screens. They correctly stop moving now.
Fixed Physical and Magic Potions acquired from either Loot Goblin, Ares Tokens and Warfare Shop. They will correctly work now.
Fixed some items displaying an error message saying that the player is banned. The error messages will now correctly state what the actual error is.
Fixed map/monster positioning for Underwater Cave.
Fixed an issue impacting server performance, players might notice the game being more responsive to their actions in general.

Knight

No bug fixes.

Spearman

No bug fixes.

Archer

Fixed a bug where archers only had a 1.5% crit chance base, it's now 3%.
Fixed a bug where archers were receiving the same -2AS penalty for wearing a bow that the other classes receive. Combined with the adjustment to skills, this effectively gives archers the +1 attack speed overall that we're all used to them having.
